Pentium - Definitions

Pentium (Pen*ti*um); verb.  To make a mistake, and poorly handle
the after effects, regardless of public opinion.  Often coupled
with technical double talk minimizing the problem.

pentium (pen'-ti-um); noun. an obvious error, often involving mathematics. sometimes having dire consequences. common usage "how could you make such a pentium?" examples: you divide 4 by 2 and get 3, you exclaim "woah! what a pentium!" you multiply 24 by 14 and get 1200. your error leaves you and your friends stranded in death valley because you miscalculated how far your car could travel with one tank of gasoline. your friends lament "your pentium is going to kill us!" your tax firm calculates that your largest customer should be getting a refund, when they actually owe over 1,000,000 dollars in taxes. fortunately, someone notices the error at the last moment, they sigh "if that pentium had gone out the door, we would all be in jail!" you order 600 wall calendars because half of the 50 employees at your company need a calendar. you boss threatens "if you make one more pentium like that, i'm gonna wring your neck!"
